MF insulators, in the GUMMIMETALL antivibration range from Pantecnica, are designed for active and passive multifunctional
insulation of vibration and structural noises transmitted through solid bodies; they are also effective for the control of shocks, strains and jolts. In the permitted load field they can control compression and traction stresses acting in all directions. Their build structure has a particular shape also because the part in elastomer adheres to the metal parts without vulcanisation treatment. The elastomer element resists ageing and oils in a heat field from -25°C to 80°C; on request, with special elastomer the operational heat field is extended from -50°C to 180°C. The metal components in the standard version are in steel treated against environmental corrosion; for particular operating conditions they can be supplied in non-magnetic metals. These antivibration devices are particularly suitable for insulating measurement and control instruments and apparatus, in stationary applications on land and more widely in mobile applications on vehicles, yachts, ships and aeroplanes.
