ENGINEERED ANTIVIBRATION SYSTEMS FOR ON-BOARD VIBRO-ACOUSTIC COMFORT

To improve comfort on board yachts and ships, Pantecnica® has developed specialized technical skills to design and supply effective systems to mitigate both structural and secondary airborne noise in cabins and on deck. The wide range of certified anti-vibration systems, also in the tear-proof version, can meet every application requirement to improve onboard comfort. Furthermore, the focus on protecting the marine environment has always been one of our priorities, in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 14 of the UN 2030 Agenda. Not only have we been supporters of the One Ocean Foundation since its inception, but we have also developed innovative systems to avoid antifouling treatments, which are known to be polluting, and acoustic shieldings in 100% recyclable material.

Exploiting a wall of bubbles created by a porous tube and an air pump to keep the hull of the boat clean and free from algae, linemen, and mollusks. This, briefly, is the aim of BubbleBoat®, the new Pantecnica® patent. This patent comes a year after SonicBoat®, the ultrasound antifouling system created and patented by the same Milanese company. BubbleBoat® and SonicBoat® are two alternatives to the classic “brush on” antifouling paints.

OCEAN DEFENDERS

The Ocean Defenders are those who have signed the Charta Smeralda and, united, want to make their voices heard.
The Charta Smeralda is a code of ethics for sharing principles and actions to protect the seas, drawn up to raise awareness among the public, operators, and all stakeholders, highlighting the sense of urgency in tackling the most pressing problems of the oceans and marine and coastal ecosystems and aiming to define concrete, immediate and focused areas of intervention to solve the problems.
Among the Ocean Ambassadors, Alex Bellini, adventurer and explorer, who sailed along the 10 most plastic-polluted rivers in the world in a self-built boat, created with locally collected recycled materials. The Expedition was organized to unlock the urgency to act and to present the world with new and exciting solutions to solve our impending environmental crisis.
