When Commitment meets Responsibility
In continuity with the spirit of the founder of Pantecnica®, we are strongly motivated to combine investment and charity, and to consider Corporate Social Responsibility an integral part of the innovation necessary for development”. The UN agenda has defined 17 Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030 worldwide.
For us at Pantecnica®, Corporate Social Responsibility means more than simply complying with laws and regulations; it means basing our management choices and our behavior on ethical, social, sustainable development, and environmental values.
Sustainability for the social sector
We are concerned with social sustainability, which for Pantecnica means investing in research and collaborating with others. In this way we contribute to economic growth and innovation, goals 8 and 9 of the UN agenda, with a focus on quality. This is why our Group is part of important research clusters such as the Lombardia Aerospace Cluster – The aim is to promote and foster collaboration between companies and research centers and universities in our area for the development of the Lombardy aerospace industry.
Pantecnica also adheres to and supports Progetti del cuore, a charitable company that provides services by municipalities and voluntary associations to the weaker sections of the population: in particular children, disabled citizens, and the elderly.
Education for sustainability with Treecorp
We care a great deal about our planet and believe it is essential to teach new generations respect for the environment and to make them aware of sustainability, an increasingly topical subject. This is why, thanks to Pantecnica, the school project ‘Guardians of Sustainability’ will involve around 500 children over the course of the year. The classes are engaging in an educational project, covering topics such as energy and water saving and waste recycling. At the end of this project, the students are more aware of the impact of their actions on the environment, they share their learning with their families, and the protection of the environment and its natural resources is then extended to their local communities, improving everyone’s behavior.

For us at Pantecnica®, Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of the innovation necessary for development. This has led us to actively support these projects from the outset:
One Ocean Foundation is committed to raising awareness against the spread of plastics in the marine environment.
Pantecnica® adheres to Charta Smeralda, the first code of ethics for the protection of the sea that commits us to:
Sustainably manage all our activities, reducing the environmental impact and avoiding any risk to the environment;
Minimize sources of pollution;
Comply with the principles of sustainable development;
Adopt a sustainable consumption of water and encourage recycling and selective waste collection. Besides, some of the products offered by Pantecnica® help to improve the efficiency of propulsion and auxiliary machinery on board, as well as equipment on offshore platforms, thus becoming functional to the mitigation of their environmental impact and the reduction of marine and coastal pollution.
NoViDamp®: for a sustainable future in big cities
We at Pantecnica felt strongly the need to rethink the way we design and sustainably build urban areas. And we have done this in partnership with Phononic Vibes, a start-up from the Milan Polytechnic, with whom we have developed NoViDamp®, an innovative patented meta-technology for the isolation of noise, vibrations, and noise in infrastructures, as well as civil and industrial environments, which we are optimizing through the recovery of plastics and waste that would otherwise end up in landfills or, even worse, in our seas and oceans.
Pantecnica trees with Treecorp in Soncino park
Pantecnica’s respect for the environment took concrete form in a further project in 2023 in collaboration with the start-up Treecorp: we planted 20 adult trees in the park of Soncino, in the province of Cremona, respecting biodiversity. Thanks to our actions, around 2 tonnes of CO2 will be absorbed every year, making the air in the area cleaner and more breathable, a benefit for our planet and for all of us. With this project, we have created beauty in the green, through a harmonious arrangement of tree elements, designed and followed by expert agronomists.
We are the first change
This is why, with a gaze constantly projected towards the future, as a first step we have activated the use of energy from 100% Green A2A renewable sources and obtained from the supplying company the certificate certifying our Group’s commitment to the environment. We have also launched a study to verify the feasibility of a complete energy requalification of our headquarters.
It will be a long and complex task, but as Walt Disney used to say: “If you can dream it, you can do it“.
